The Assembly Hall Theatre is a vibrant 1,000-seat theatre located in Tunbridge Wells town centre. The theatre programme features a wide variety of shows, with something for everyone – from West End family shows, popular music, dance, ballet and opera through to children’s shows. The theatre is particularly proud of the number of popular comedians in its programme each season. The Assembly Hall Theatre has two non-smoking bars. Refreshments can be purchased both before a show and during the interval. Tunbridge Wells has a fantastic range of restaurants catering to all budgets, many just a few minutes walk from the theatre. The theatre is a five-minute walk from Tunbridge Wells train station and there is a large multi-storey car park located on the same road.
