Creative Arts East ‹ Back to results
Professional theatre performances take place in 30 village and community halls across Norfolk and north Suffolk. They are all arranged by local volunteers as part of Creative Arts East’s Village Stage scheme. Access by public transport is patchy but many areas have community transport schemes or flexibus service. More information about these schemes can be found through the Transport and Streets pages at www.norfolk.gov.uk and www.suffolk.gov.uk.
Although facilities can be simple these venues are friendly and informal; being small-scale means that the experience of watching a show can be more exciting and involving than in a larger, more impersonal venue. There are often enjoyable extras, too, such as home-made refreshments, cheap drinks and a raffle! So surprise yourself and find a Village Stage today.
