The RSC returns to London in December 2009 with Gregory Doran’s new production of Twelfth Night, Shakespeare’s comic tale of mistaken identity and of love, lost and found.
Twelfth Night transfers to the Duke of York’s Theatre in the West End following a sell-out run in Stratford-upon-Avon.
Award-winning actor Richard Wilson makes his RSC debut as Malvolio alongside a host of familiar RSC names including James Fleet as Sir Andrew Aguecheek, Nancy Carroll as Viola, Alexandra Gilbreath as Olivia, Jo Stone-Fewings as Orsino, Miltos Yerolemou as Feste and Associate Artist Richard McCabe returning to the Company following his acclaimed performance in Stratford-upon-Avon as King John.
RSC Chief Associate Director Gregory Doran directs this acclaimed production following his recent productions in London including A Midsummer Night’s Dream and Hamlet with David Tennant.
We have free tickets for Monday to Friday performances of Twelfth Night at the Duke of York’s Theatre. The Free Theatre Tickets scheme runs alongside our popular £5 ticket for 16-25 year olds which is available for all our performances. Visit our website for more details.
