Wycombe Swan opened in November 1992, and is one of the leading theatres in the UK. The Town Hall also hosts many different performances and is over 100 years old. The complex is managed by Wycombe Arts Management on behalf of Wycombe District Council. Situated in central High Wycombe, it consists of three venues:

Swan Theatre (capacity 1076) Town Hall (capacity 200-600) Oak Room (capacity 130)

Each year some 700 performances of 300 separate shows take place in the three venues, with a total attendance of around 250,000.

Wycombe Swan aims to be a place of artistic excellence and artistic experience; an interchange for the local community where culture, entertainment, experience and participation mix naturally and are mutually supportive.

From the Wycombe Swan Summer Youth Project with a cast of 250 to a contemporary dance / installation art performance in the Town Hall, every conceivable scale and type of show takes place.

The programme aims to present the finest local, national and international companies and performers possible. Due to the wide-ranging nature of the programme it has always been the aim to present festivals and themed seasons. These provide a focus for innovative programming, new commissions, educational projects and audience development.
