Blackpool’s Grand Theatre is giving away free tickets to twelve Blackpool organisations working with young people as part of A Night Less Ordinary.
The twelve groups, which include Blackpool Foyer, Connexions and Blackpool Explorer Scouts, all work with young people aged between 16 and 26 in the Blackpool area and will enjoy an allocation of free tickets to all the top shows, distributed on a weekly rota basis.
Bay Housing and Blackpool, Fylde & Wyre Society for the Blind will be the first of the groups to take their free seats through the scheme on Saturday 22 August for the 2pm matinee of Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat starring Craig Chalmers.
Free tickets are also available to all 16 to 26 year olds - there are 20 free tickets up for grabs for a top show every month - as well as free tickets to the bi-monthly cabaret night, Something Wicket This Way Comes.
Full details on how to obtain free tickets for Blackpool’s Grand Theatre are available on their website or by becoming a friend of the Grand’s student MySpace site.
For further information on the A Night Less Ordinary free ticket scheme please call The Grand Theatre’s Education and Access Officer, Ian Lamond, on 01253 743211 or email .
