Located in the heart of a modern development in North Finchley, the arts centre includes a 395 seated theatre and a 148 seated studio theatre, together with an art gallery, café, bars, and education studios all in a contemporary setting. The venue also acts as a meeting place for the whole community providing an informal environment where customers can meet, relax, see a performance, take part in a workshop, enjoy a drink or see an exhibition.

As the mirror ball twirls around our transformed theatre, join The Sugarfoot Stompers on a journey through dance from the 1910s to the 1960s with wow-studded performances, social dancing and an opportunity to have a go yourself. From comedic Cakewalk, cheeky Charleston , fast paced Lindy Hop, flying Rock and Roll, fun Hand Jive and 60s cool Twist, The Sugarfoot Stompers sizzle with all the glamour and fizz of the Jazz Age.

Romeo and Juliet

Separated by their fathers’ bitter rivalry, Romeo and Juliet experience a first love that is truly forbidden. In the long hot summer they pray for the private night to be alone – away from the blistering passions and the vicious cycle of violence brought on by their families’ ongoing feud. In this cruel adult world of pride, envy and greed, youth and innocence have no place. Romeo and Juliet must go to desperate measures to be together.

This modern classic follows Jo as she copes with life and her irresponsible mother, the Nigerian sailor who leaves her pregnant and the gay art student who moves in to take care of her while she waits for the baby to be born.
